Our Story
YoungGems was founded in 2016 by award-winning female entrepreneur, Gemma Manning, with a clear mission to make entrepreneurship accessible to everyone. When you look at the statistics on business owners, it is alarming to think that only 13% are female. And when you look at other minority communities, the figures don’t get much better.

Providing education, specifically entrepreneurship education, can go a long way. At YoungGems, we believe that people from all walks of life need to have an entrepreneurial mindset and key skills such as problem-solving, ideating, and analytical and creative thinking to navigate any future workplace, or to apply to their own business.
